Information you choose to provide

The website request forms ask for your name, phone, service need, and contact consent, and may ask for an email address, property address or ZIP code, and notes. When you submit a form, the request is sent to our office, stored in our lead records (including the consent you gave and when), and forwarded to our team by email.

Calls to our office line may be answered by an automated assistant when we are unavailable, and calls may be recorded and transcribed by our phone provider so we can follow up accurately. If you agree to be contacted, we may call or text you about your roof; reply STOP to any text to opt out.

If you email the office, your message and attachments are handled through the email services used by you and Good Local Roofing Company. Do not send policy documents, payment information, government identification, medical information, or other sensitive records through this workflow.

Website technology

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure how our Facebook and Instagram advertising performs. The pixel records page visits and form submissions in your browser. When you submit a request, we may send Meta a one-way encrypted (hashed) version of your email, phone number, name, city, and ZIP code so Meta can match the request to an ad interaction; Meta does not receive those in readable form from us.

Two things in that same message are not hashed, and we want to be plain about it: your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, which Meta uses to match the request to a person who saw an ad. If you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad, or you already have Meta cookies in your browser, the click and browser identifiers Meta set (fbc and fbp) go with it. You can limit this through your Facebook ad settings or your browser's privacy controls.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, provided by the company that hosts this site, to count page visits and measure how quickly pages load. These are aggregate measurements: they do not use cookies and do not identify you personally.

The site has no account system and no payment form, and we do not sell your personal information. Hosting and your browser also process ordinary technical information needed to deliver the site, such as IP address, request time, browser information, and security logs.

Choices, security, and changes

You may contact the office to ask about personal information in a prior roofing conversation, subject to legal and operational limits. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. This policy may change as the website, vendors, or business practices change; the effective date will be updated when a revised policy is posted.
